This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Lead and expand a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, including responsibilities for hiring, performance management, career development, and work prioritization.
• Take ownership of the Salesforce platform roadmap encompassing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and integrated third-party systems.
• Balance production support, reduce technical debt, and deliver new projects.
• Provide practical architecture guidance and conduct code reviews for Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow automation, and platform security.
• Manage Salesforce DevOps and release management processes, including Gearset, source control, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, deployment governance, and production change management.
• Collaborate with the Technical Architect to implement the architectural roadmap and prioritize team deliverables.
• Oversee Salesforce data architecture, security models, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and integration/service account hygiene.
• Manage or co-manage Salesforce integrations with connected platforms.
• Take responsibility for adjacent RevOps tools such as Gearset, Gong, and Loom.
• Oversee Agentforce, Slackbot, AI skills, and other AI-driven Salesforce offerings while evaluating new AI workflow opportunities.
• Collect requirements from GTM stakeholders and convert business needs into technical solutions.
• Establish standards for documentation, testing, and change management.
• Escalate and address complex production issues as the senior technical point of contact.
• Enhance team capacity, evaluate workload and skill gaps, assess architecture and refactoring opportunities, and create scalable operating practices.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise settings, along with people management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, Flow automation, and platform security.
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ and billing systems.
• Familiarity with RevOps or quote-to-cash processes.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD practices, including Gearset or similar tools.
• Proven track record in high-growth SaaS or technology companies, preferably supporting a globally distributed GTM organization.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, or Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of NetSuite, quote-to-cash business processes, and MuleSoft is an advantage.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, analytics, or AI-driven workflows is a plus.
• Experience supporting global sales organizations is desirable.
