This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.
• Promote and market capital and consumable products aimed at addressing respiratory surgical complications to operating room and hospital C-suite clientele.
• Generate revenue through sales to key hospital staff and end-users.
• Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual business forecasts to the Regional Business Manager.
• Lead the development of territory opportunities and sales initiatives.
• Identify, qualify, prepare, and implement effective sales strategies.
• Sustain existing business relationships while closing competitive and revenue-enhancing opportunities.
• Develop and finalize product sales inquiries and leads within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the regionally aligned field sales team to drive additional revenue and meet sales targets.
• Negotiate, finalize, and manage profitable agreements.
• Utilize and update sales tools to analyze trends, formulate call strategies, and manage territory and strategic business plans.
• Convey strategic messaging at trade shows, during presentations, and in board meetings.
• Provide information on product features, benefits, applications, value messaging, and clinical support.
• Coordinate clinical evaluations and offer pre-sales support.
• Conduct post-sales implementation, product education, in-servicing, and ongoing customer support.
• Build and nurture customer relationships while understanding their initiatives.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of related products, applications, programs, and value-added services.
• Efficiently utilize Specialist and Clinical resources to enhance the sales process.
• Inform the Regional Business Manager and local area team about new account opportunities.
• Complete assigned projects and administrative tasks promptly.
• Adhere to Vendor Credentialing requirements.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 4+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Relevant experience in sales, clinical roles, or related fields within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Must reside within the assigned territory and drive to multiple accounts across the region.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• Preferred: 4+ years of experience in Medical Device Operating Room sales, including managing an individual quota.
• Preferred: Experience selling in the acute care hospital operating room setting.
• Ability to swiftly compile contracts with supporting financial business cases.
• Proven track record of success in complex sales and clinical environments.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in business applications.
• In-depth understanding of the sales process.
• Familiarity with the medical sales landscape.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional client interaction capabilities.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
