This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with application developers and platform teams, showcasing an understanding of their challenges, toolchains, and large-scale software development and deployment.
• Consult with clients to identify business drivers and technical pain points, aligning them with Red Hat solutions.
• Lead sales campaigns from initial discovery and technical qualification through validation, securing the technical win, and assisting with procurement.
• Convert technical solutions into quantifiable business value for executives while maintaining credibility with developers, infrastructure architects, and engineering leads.
• Spearhead initiatives for application platform modernization, virtualization migration, and cloud adoption.
• Work alongside the team to implement territory plans, identify opportunities, and position OpenShift as the leading platform.
• Establish OpenShift as the preferred platform among enterprise customers throughout the Southeast Region, particularly from the Carolinas to Florida.
• Champion initiatives in cloud-native application development, hybrid cloud, virtualization-to-container migration, AI application development, and edge computing.
• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise software, cloud, or technology sales.
• Sufficient technical expertise to gain the trust of application development teams.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud-native ecosystems is essential.
• A genuine enthusiasm for open source and the Red Hat model.
• Proficient in asking insightful questions to uncover core customer needs and objectives.
• Outstanding presentation and storytelling abilities for both technical and business audiences.
• Comfortable whiteboarding hybrid cloud architecture with platform teams and presenting modernization business cases to executive leadership.
• Proven capacity to operate effectively within matrixed teams.
