Online Physical Therapy Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Teach students in physical therapy using Upswing’s online virtual classroom.

• Employ the Socratic method to promote student autonomy and enhance critical thinking abilities.

• Facilitate sessions utilizing video, audio, chatbox, and whiteboard tools.

• Schedule work based on tutor availability and student demand.

• Address session requests promptly.

• Maintain an active presence during the fall and spring semesters.

• Complete subject matter evaluations if necessary prior to being accepted as an academic coach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise or advanced knowledge in physical therapy, acquired through an undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or relevant professional experience.

• Access to reliable high-speed Internet.

• A quiet, distraction-free setting for conducting tutorials.

• Dependable laptop or desktop equipped with camera and microphone capabilities.

• Excellent academic performance in undergraduate or graduate studies.

• Passion for teaching and assisting others in problem-solving.

• Availability to tutor for at least 2–5 hours each week during the fall and spring semesters.

• Preferred background in teaching methodology, instruction, or experience in college-level tutoring.

• Quick responsiveness to session requests.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to receive payments via PayPal.

• Submission of college transcripts is required.

• May be required to complete subject matter evaluations before being accepted as an academic coach.
