Lead Therapist – Accredited Senior Counsellor, Psychotherapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct regular mental health clinical sessions.

• Offer clinical insights on feedback, complaints, incidents, and risks.

• Work collaboratively with clinical leadership to enhance customer experience and NPS response rates.

• Supervise the provision of mental health therapies and assist with case management.

• Perform scheduled clinical audits and execute clinical policies.

• Prepare for both internal and external regulatory visits.

• Serve as a clinical advisor and support resource for staff.

• Aid the operations team in promoting business and financial performance.

• Provide urgent clinical services when necessary.

• Advocate for ConnectedCare culture and internal services.

• Relay business and clinical updates to mental health clinicians.

• Cultivate a positive culture that aligns with company values.

• Promote learning, CPD, and training opportunities for team members.

• Act as the local point of contact for mental health therapy inquiries and escalate issues as needed.

• Mentor and assess the clinical performance of the mental health team.

• Share best practices with fellow Lead Mental Health Therapists.

• Attend clinical meetings and approve content for study leave.

• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new mental health clinicians.

• Monitor performance data and customer feedback to facilitate improvements.

• Collaborate on Pulse surveys and action plans.

• Help with people-management matters related to performance, capability, and conduct.

• Engage in delegated projects such as policy writing, audits, and governance groups.

• Participate in incident reporting and investigations in line with policy.

• Aid in complaint management and escalate issues when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Academic qualification in counselling/psychotherapy at Level 4 or higher.

• BACP Accreditation or equivalent, such as NCPS Accredited Professional Registrant or UKCP Registration.

• A minimum of 450 hours of supervised counselling practice.

• At least 3 years of post-qualification counselling experience.

• Experience working with both short- and long-term clients, including those with complex presentations.

• Relevant training and experience in providing therapy remotely via video or telephone.

• Proficient in IT.

• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to lead effectively.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Excellent organizational capabilities.

• Strong skills in motivation, influence, and negotiation.

• Persuasive and credible authority.

• Outstanding planning, time management, and prioritization skills.

• Confident decision-making abilities.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be UK-based.
