This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Interact with customers to identify their needs and inform key stakeholders about oncology products.
• Connect with the wider oncology community, striving to meet or surpass assigned sales targets.
• Oversee the Cincinnati, Ohio territory, which includes Dayton, Ohio.
• Collaborate with team members in the territory to achieve or exceed set geographic sales objectives.
• Engage with key stakeholders to gain insights into practice structure, business models, and influencers while fostering relationships and trust.
• Utilize approved resources and messaging to articulate the patient-centered value of oncology products.
• Leverage knowledge of multidisciplinary care teams, cancer staging, treatment options, pathways, and guidelines across various tumors and diseases.
• Examine trends in intricate purchasing environments, such as GPOs, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies.
• Assess product purchasing and prescribing patterns in outpatient and inpatient infusion settings, hospitals, and GPO contracts.
• Formulate and implement both short- and long-term strategies in collaboration with the local team and district manager/Oncology Customer Team Leader.
• Grasp customer priorities and needs through insightful questioning.
• Ensure consistent customer experiences across various divisions and functions.
• Communicate and collaborate with Customer Team Leaders, Key Account Managers, Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Associates, Medicare Account Executives, and other members of the customer team.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of sales experience OR a high school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience.
• Equivalent experience can include professional sales, healthcare/scientific roles with oncology experience, professional marketing, or military service.
• At least 2 years of field-based oncology experience selling an oncology therapeutic to oncology customers.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and capability to drive a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, including approximately 25% overnight travel.
• Must live in or be within a reasonable distance of the assigned Cincinnati/Dayton territory.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience is preferred.
• Proven strong performance in sales, marketing, or an oncology clinical role is preferred.
• Clinical oncology experience across multiple solid tumors is preferred.
• Candidates with less than 2 years of oncology field sales experience may be eligible for the S2 level.
• Candidates with 2+ years of oncology field sales experience will be considered for the S3 level.
