This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Engage with customers to meet their identified needs.
• Educate key stakeholders regarding oncology products.
• Communicate effectively with the broader oncology community.
• Meet or surpass assigned sales targets within the designated territory.
• Operate in a field-based sales role covering the Baton Rouge/New Orleans, Louisiana area.
• Travel overnight approximately 25% of the time as necessary.
• Collaborate with territory team members to achieve or exceed set sales goals.
• Interact with key stakeholders to gain insights into practice structures, business models, and influencers.
• Establish business relationships and build trust to identify customer needs.
• Utilize approved resources and messaging to convey patient-centered product rationales for indicated uses.
• Apply knowledge of multidisciplinary care teams, cancer staging, treatment options, pathways, and guidelines.
• Analyze trends in complex purchasing environments and drug distribution channels.
• Review and assess product purchasing and prescribing behaviors.
• Develop and implement both short- and long-term strategies with the local team and district manager.
• Understand customer priorities and needs through insightful inquiries.
• Ensure a consistent customer experience across divisions and functions.
• Share key insights and collaborate with the customer team, including the Customer Team Leader, Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate, and Medicare Account Executive.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of sales experience OR a high school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of oncology field-based experience selling oncology therapeutics to oncology customers.
• Equivalent experience may consist of professional sales experience, healthcare/scientific work experience with oncology exposure, professional marketing experience, or military background.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel as required, including overnight trips.
• Reside in or close to the district.
• Preferred experience in oncology field sales or clinical oncology.
• Documented strong performance history in a sales/marketing or oncology clinical position preferred.
• Established customer relationships are preferred.
• Candidates with less than 2 years of oncology field sales experience will be considered for the S2 Oncology Sales Representative level.
• Candidates with 2+ years of oncology field sales experience will be considered for the S3 Oncology Sales Specialist level.
• Must reside within the Baton Rouge/New Orleans, Louisiana territory.
