This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Enhance and expedite the impact of the oncology sales team on cancer patients.
• Engage with customers to meet identified needs.
• Inform key stakeholders about oncology products.
• Connect with the wider oncology community.
• Meet or surpass designated sales targets within the Lexington, Kentucky area.
• Collaborate with territory team members to achieve or exceed regional sales objectives.
• Meet with stakeholders to gain insights into practice structures, business models, and key influencers.
• Foster business relationships and trust to identify customer needs.
• Communicate patient-centered value propositions for oncology products using approved resources and messaging.
• Utilize knowledge of multidisciplinary care teams, cancer staging, treatment options, pathways, and guidelines.
• Assess trends in complex purchasing environments and drug distribution channels.
• Analyze product purchasing and prescribing behaviors.
• Create and implement both short- and long-term territory strategies with the local team and district manager.
• Conduct meaningful customer discussions by recognizing priorities and needs.
• Ensure a consistent customer experience across all company divisions and functional areas.
• Share customer insights with the customer team, which includes the Customer Team Leader, Key Account Manager, Nurse Educator, Field Reimbursement Associate, and Medicare Account Executive.
• Cover the areas of Lexington and Ashland, Kentucky, as well as Huntington, West Virginia.
• Travel approximately 25% overnight based on location.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of sales experience OR a high school diploma with at least 10 years of equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of field-based oncology experience selling oncology therapeutics to oncology customers.
• Valid driver’s license and capability to operate a vehicle.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, including approximately 25% overnight travel.
• Must reside in or be within a reasonable distance of the assigned territory.
• Equivalent experience may include professional sales, healthcare/scientific work with oncology experience, professional marketing, or military experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Preferred: Proven strong performance in a sales, marketing, or oncology clinical position.
• Preferred: Clinical oncology experience across various solid tumors.
• Candidates with less than 2 years of oncology field sales experience may be considered for the S2 level.
