This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Promote the adoption of Myriad’s genomics, precision oncology, and hereditary oncology product offerings.
• Cultivate strong clinical relationships and provide consultative, evidence-driven education to oncology providers.
• Drive business growth within oncology practices and health systems by executing strategic territory plans and surpassing sales targets.
• Oversee the entire product sales lifecycle, including new business development and lead generation activities.
• Assess customer requirements, propose solutions, and finalize business deals through a consultative selling approach.
• Establish and nurture relationships with community practices, academic institutions, and integrated delivery networks.
• Develop and manage commercial partnerships with oncology key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Represent the company at local trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
• Formulate and implement territory plans aimed at exceeding sales objectives.
• Identify and leverage commercial growth opportunities across practices, institutions, payors, physician groups, and long-term care facilities.
• Deliver presentations on hereditary and precision oncology solutions to oncologists, surgeons, and healthcare teams.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on sales and marketing materials.
• Partner with medical affairs, operations, payer markets, and internal teams to facilitate product adoption and integration.
• Monitor competitor activities and supply actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
• Stay informed on trends within the personalized medicine industry and marketplace.
• Comply with regulatory and company guidelines during promotional activities.
• Lead or engage in cross-functional projects and initiatives.
• Act as a leader and mentor for junior team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field is preferred; an advanced degree is also preferred.
• Must live within the designated territory.
• 12+ years of successful sales experience or equivalent in oncology, molecular diagnostics, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
• Experience in selling clinical products in the oncology therapeutic area to relevant Oncology call points.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or surpassing sales goals in highly competitive environments.
• Demonstrated experience in driving adoption within complex healthcare settings is preferred.
• History of expanding business within large health systems and integrated networks is preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to interpret and communicate scientific data effectively.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Expertise in managing complex accounts and navigating multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
• Excellent skills in presentation, training, coaching, and both written and verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal abilities, including active listening, coaching, advising, problem-solving, and facilitation.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable engaging with customers both remotely and in person.
• Flexible, self-driven, and able to work autonomously.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge and application of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics regarding patient information is preferred.
• Ability to exercise discretion and professionalism while handling patient and physician information and documentation.
• Capacity to withstand pressure to compromise corporate values in pursuit of sales.
• Proven record of integrity.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
• Capability to embody and uphold corporate values and professional ethics.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory (50–75%).
• Highly self-motivated, strategic thinker with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Myriad’s policy standards.
