This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals by providing education on products and disease-related information for approved therapies.
• Offer continuous education and resources regarding patient management, dosing, administration, and management of side effects.
• Collaborate with field teams while adhering to established guidelines for ways of working.
• Interact with clinicians in targeted accounts to deliver clinical in-services and educational sessions.
• Assess educational needs and enhance disease-state awareness within a specific geographic area.
• Create tailored educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Provide education on product preparation and administration, as well as adverse-event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Communicate approved clinical education topics to a variety of audiences.
• Deliver disease-state education, encompassing diagnosis-related clinical and operational factors.
• Conduct one-on-one presentations, in-services, round-table discussions, and podium presentations as authorized.
• Educate patient-care teams on product-related infusion procedures.
• Document and disseminate clinical insights through strategic questioning and active listening.
• Attend and present clinical information at internal meetings on national, regional, and local levels.
• Assist with exhibit booths and displays when appropriate.
• Enhance clinical training programs and the competencies of internal sales teams.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, and clinical value and evidence teams.
• Potentially provide education to patients in advocacy meeting settings utilizing approved materials and messaging.
• Candidate must reside within the Great Lakes territory, including Cleveland, OH; Detroit, MI; Richmond, VA; or Lexington, KY.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Nursing or NP is preferred.
• A Master's level education is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of combined clinical experience and/or experience in pharmaceutical sales, clinical education, or medical affairs is required; oncology experience is preferred.
• Experience in or supporting patients and healthcare professionals in an infusion center setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with developing or implementing chemotherapy/biologics infusion procedures and protocols for patient safety monitoring is preferred.
• Strong communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, and analytical skills are essential.
• Proven ability to adapt to change and embrace learning opportunities.
• Experience in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data is required.
• Awareness of evolving trends in the oncology market and their impacts on providers and patients is necessary.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team is important.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications is required.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, which may include overnight and occasional weekend travel.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
