This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Engage proactively with allied healthcare professionals by providing education on products and disease management that supports patient care throughout the therapy process.
• Offer continuous education and resources related to patient management, dosing, administration, and the management of side effects.
• Work collaboratively with field teams in accordance with established guidelines to assist allied healthcare clinicians.
• Interact with clinicians at targeted accounts, delivering clinical in-services and educational sessions.
• Identify educational gaps and enhance awareness of disease states, including symptom management and the appropriate identification of patients.
• Create tailored educational plans that reflect the dynamics of the account and clinical insights.
• Provide training on product preparation, administration, adverse event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Interpret and convey approved clinical education topics to a variety of audiences.
• Deliver one-on-one presentations, in-services, round-table discussions, and podium presentations.
• Educate patient-care teams regarding product-related infusion processes.
• Document and relay clinical insights through strategic questioning and active listening techniques.
• Attend and present clinical information at internal national, regional, and local meetings.
• Assist in managing exhibit booths and displays as necessary.
• Enhance clinical training initiatives and bolster the competencies of internal sales teams.
• Collaborate across sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, and clinical value and evidence departments.
• Potentially provide education to patients in advocacy meeting settings using approved materials and messaging.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Nursing or as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
• A Master's level education is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of combined clinical experience and/or experience in pharmaceutical sales, clinical education, or medical affairs is required; experience in Oncology is preferred.
• Preference for candidates with experience in or supporting patients and healthcare providers in an infusion center setting.
• Experience in developing or implementing chemotherapy/biologics infusion procedures and protocols for therapy administration and patient safety monitoring is preferred.
• Strong communication, objective-setting, influencing, business acumen, and analytical skills are essential.
• Proven experience in adapting to change and embracing new learning opportunities.
• Ability to interpret clinical and pharmacoeconomic data effectively.
• Awareness of current trends in the oncology market and their impact on providers and patients.
• Experience working within cross-functional teams is necessary.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, which may include overnight and occasional weekend travel.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to drive a personal vehicle, company car, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
