This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Actively engage with allied healthcare professionals by providing product and disease education that supports patient management throughout the stages of approved therapies.
• Offer continuous education and resources focused on patient management, dosing and administration, as well as side-effect management.
• Collaborate with field teams to deliver educational support for allied healthcare clinicians.
• Engage with clinicians in targeted accounts, offering clinical in-services and educational sessions.
• Identify educational requirements and enhance awareness around disease states, appropriate patient diagnosis, symptom management, and therapy initiation.
• Act as a strategic education leader within both academic and community oncology settings.
• Create tailored educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Provide education on product preparation and administration, as well as on adverse-event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Conduct one-on-one presentations, in-services, round-table discussions, podium presentations, and other approved educational programs.
• Inform patient-care teams about the associated processes of infusion.
• Record and disseminate clinical insights through strategic questioning and active listening.
• Attend and present clinical information at internal national, regional, and local meetings.
• Support exhibit booths and displays as necessary.
• Advance clinical training initiatives and enhance the competencies of the internal sales team.
• Collaborate with functions across sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, and clinical value and evidence.
• Potentially educate patients at advocacy meetings using approved materials and messaging.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; Nursing or Nurse Practitioner preferred.
• A Master’s level education is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of combined clinical experience and/or experience in pharmaceutical sales, clinical education, or medical affairs; oncology experience is preferred.
• Preferred experience in working with or supporting patients and healthcare professionals in an infusion center setting.
• Experience in developing or implementing chemotherapy/biologics infusion procedures and protocols for therapy administration and patient safety monitoring is preferred.
• Exceptional communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, and analytical skills are required.
• Proven ability to adapt to change and embrace new learning opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data.
• Knowledge of the evolving trends in the oncology market and their impact on providers and patients.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team is necessary.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including overnight trips and occasional weekends; the posting indicates travel may be up to 75% of the time.
• Must have the ability to drive a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
