This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Prepare and implement the launch strategy for Avutometinib and Defactinib in LGSOC.
• Cultivate outstanding customer relationships and represent Verastem effectively in front of clients.
• Collaborate with various company functions and engage with internal and external stakeholders that influence sales.
• Leverage clinical and business expertise, along with industry and market knowledge, to develop customer-centric strategies.
• Analyze and interpret data to enhance sales performance.
• Clearly communicate the clinical value proposition, product advantages, safety, and management of side effects for Avutometinib and Defactinib.
• Educate stakeholders within target accounts using approved materials.
• Provide comprehensive account support throughout the entire patient journey.
• Design and implement both short-term and long-term account strategies.
• Create business plans that align with brand strategic goals and allocate promotional resources in compliance with regulations.
• Identify customer needs through strategic questioning and engagement with stakeholders.
• Participate in corporate, product, and skills training sessions.
• Establish relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
• Generate demand from prescribers in a compliant manner.
• Identify and analyze trends within drug distribution channels, Oncology GPOs, wholesalers, and specialty pharmacies.
• Provide support at exhibit booths and displays as necessary.
• Achieve annual sales targets and ensure that objectives are surpassed.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director.
• Comply with company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• A minimum of a BA/BS degree is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Oncology and/or Rare Disease is required.
• Experience in Women’s Health or GYN/Oncology is preferred.
• Oral drug experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekend travel; approximately 50% overnight travel is anticipated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to collaborate across functions.
• Capability to meet any customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., current vaccinations, trainings).
• A passionate and self-driven individual.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of the geographical area and customer base is preferred.
• Experience in launching new products and/or indications is essential.
• Strong geographical account experience and established relationships.
• Oral drug experience.
• Oncology experience specifically in the gynecologic oncology or ovarian space.
