This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Represent the organization in a professional and ethical manner, enhancing its reputation and image.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients within the designated region.
• Engage with customers and healthcare professionals to gain insights into their practices and offer information about Taiho oncology products and services.
• Promote and sell current oncology products in accordance with labeling within the assigned territory.
• Distribute product, disease-state, and factual statements across various therapeutic areas.
• Collaborate with commercial business teams on cross-functional projects.
• Drive the adoption of on-label products, ensuring appropriate use and increasing product demand.
• Generate sales through face-to-face interactions and innovative tools and analytical methodologies.
• Provide product knowledge and customer service to all accounts.
• Contact academic and community clients, supplying on-label technical and administrative product information.
• Cultivate new accounts within the designated geographic area.
• Establish relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, office personnel, and key opinion leaders.
• Create and implement a territory-level business plan that aligns with brand strategy and sales objectives.
• Monitor sales activities and document them in the CRM system.
• Ensure that regional business practices adhere to the company's Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Conduct promotional speaker programs, lunch-and-learn sessions, and territory exhibits when permissible.
• Participate in or represent the company at relevant medical congresses and meetings as necessary.
• Deliver on-label product messages both in-person and virtually.
• Direct off-label information requests to the Medical Information Request process.
• BA/BS degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
• At least 2 years of experience in oncology is required.
• Experience in hospital sales is advantageous.
• A valid driver's license is required and must be maintained.
• Proven track record of sales success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Capability to complete all training sessions and product certifications.
• Ability to manage a large geographic territory, including overnight travel and occasional weekends.
• Proficiency in synthesizing and conveying complex clinical concepts in oncology/hematology to healthcare professionals.
• Strong account management skills and selling abilities.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal colleagues.
• Competence in developing and executing compliant strategies to reach challenging-to-access healthcare professionals and accounts.
