
Oncology Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and foster organic territory growth through strategic prospecting, value-driven selling, and clinical education.
• Establish Caris as the preferred or exclusive provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions.
• Assess territory opportunities and formulate strategic sales plans to meet growth objectives.
• Achieve or surpass assigned revenue, activity, and performance benchmarks.
• Cultivate and sustain customer relationships through regular in-person interactions.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience from the initiation of orders to the delivery of reports.
• Maintain communication with account stakeholders and escalate issues when customer satisfaction may be compromised.
• Implement retention strategies and pinpoint upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Engage oncology clinicians and allied teams within clinics, pathology labs, and hospital environments.
• Assist physicians with ordering and interpreting the CMI platform, including access to PHI when necessary.
• Demonstrate and advise on portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Stay informed about molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offerings.
• Provide insights on billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
• Communicate market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, Commercial Leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Keep accurate CRM documentation and complete administrative responsibilities.
• Support meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Travel as necessary, which may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics.
• Familiarity with billing and reimbursement processes.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel frequently.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including a criminal background check, drug screening, applicable credit check, and reference verification.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift standard office materials.
• Preferred: Over 5 years of sales experience focused on oncology or molecular diagnostics.
• Preferred: Established relationships within oncology or pathology.
• Preferred: Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks.
