This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the strategic leader for AbbVie’s Multiple Myeloma brand in the San Antonio-area territory.
• Create and implement a comprehensive business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and local customer needs.
• Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Conduct compliant, customer-centric engagements utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure coordinated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Complete necessary training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership competencies.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is essential, with a preference for background in Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Proven capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a successful track record in challenging environments.
• Access to a personal vehicle or a company car/truck.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Capable of fulfilling healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, including potential background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Willingness to travel for business by air or car.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in Account Management is preferred.
• Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Previous experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous.
• Leadership experience or people management skills are preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is advantageous.
