This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and foster organic growth within the territory through strategic prospecting, value-based selling, and clinical education.
• Establish Caris as a preferred or exclusive provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions.
• Evaluate territory opportunities and formulate strategic sales plans.
• Achieve or surpass revenue, activity, and performance objectives.
• Cultivate and sustain customer relationships through regular in-person interactions.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the order lifecycle.
• Maintain communication with account stakeholders and escalate any satisfaction issues.
• Implement retention strategies while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Engage with oncology clinicians and allied teams across clinics, pathology labs, and hospitals.
• Assist physicians with the ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform, including access to PHI when necessary.
• Demonstrate and provide guidance on portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Offer insights on billing, reimbursement, payer dynamics, and laboratory operational workflows.
• Communicate market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, Commercial Leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Keep accurate CRM documentation and fulfill administrative responsibilities.
• Manage assigned company assets.
• Support meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant sales experience.
• Strong understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics.
• Knowledge of billing and reimbursement environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities within a matrixed environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements.
• Preferred: 5+ years of sales experience in oncology or molecular diagnostics.
• Established relationships in oncology or pathology are preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks is preferred.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift routine office materials.
• Travel required, including potential evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screening, applicable credit check, and reference verification.
• Customer-facing sales role with opportunities for territory growth.
