This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and foster organic growth through strategic prospecting, value-driven selling, and clinical education.
• Position Caris as a preferred or exclusive provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions.
• Analyze opportunities within the territory and create strategic sales plans to meet growth objectives.
• Achieve or surpass assigned revenue, activity, and performance targets.
• Cultivate and sustain strong customer relationships through regular in-person interactions.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the entire order lifecycle.
• Maintain communication with key stakeholders in accounts and escalate issues when customer satisfaction is at risk.
• Implement retention strategies and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Engage with oncology clinicians and allied teams across clinics, pathology labs, and hospital environments.
• Assist physicians with ordering and interpreting the CMI platform, including access to PHI when necessary.
• Demonstrate and provide advice on technology solutions like portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Keep updated on molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offerings.
• Offer consultative guidance on billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
• Act as a resource for laboratory reimbursement and operational workflows.
• Share insights on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence with leadership.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, and Commercial Leadership.
• Maintain accurate documentation in CRM and complete necessary administrative tasks.
• Look after assigned company assets.
• Support meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
• Travel as required, including potential evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant sales experience is necessary.
• Strong understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics is essential.
• Knowledge of billing and reimbursement environments is required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment is important.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is needed.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly are required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including a criminal background check, drug screening, credit check where applicable, and reference verification is mandatory.
• Preferred: 5+ years of sales experience focusing on oncology or molecular diagnostics.
• Preferred: Established relationships within oncology or pathology.
• Preferred: Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods is necessary.
• Ability to lift routine office materials is required.
