This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and foster organic growth in the territory through strategic prospecting, value-oriented selling, and clinical education.
• Establish Caris as a preferred or exclusive provider of tumor profiling and molecular intelligence solutions.
• Assess opportunities within the territory and formulate strategic sales plans to meet growth objectives.
• Achieve or surpass assigned revenue, activity, and performance targets.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships through regular in-person engagement.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience throughout the entire order lifecycle.
• Maintain communication with account stakeholders and escalate issues when customer satisfaction is at risk.
• Implement retention strategies while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with oncology clinicians and allied teams across clinics, pathology labs, and hospital environments.
• Assist physicians with the ordering and interpretation of the CMI platform, including access to PHI when necessary.
• Demonstrate and provide advice on portals, EMR integrations, and workflows.
• Stay informed about molecular profiling, biomarkers, and competitive offerings.
• Offer guidance on billing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics.
• Share insights on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence with leadership.
• Work in collaboration with Client Services, Regional Business Directors, Commercial Leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure accurate documentation in CRM and complete administrative tasks.
• Manage assigned company assets effectively.
• Provide support for meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience is necessary.
• Strong understanding of oncology practices and molecular diagnostics is essential.
• Knowledge of billing and reimbursement environments is required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities are essential.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools is necessary.
• A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel frequently are required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including a criminal background check, drug screening, applicable credit check, and reference verification.
• Preferred: 5+ years of sales experience focused on oncology or molecular diagnostics.
• Preferred: Established relationships within the oncology or pathology fields.
• Preferred: Familiarity with hospital systems and pathology networks.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods is required.
• Ability to lift routine office materials is necessary.
• Travel is required, including possible evenings, weekends, or holidays.
