This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Surpass assigned booking and shipment goals within the specified territory.
• Oversee assigned accounts while ensuring proactive engagement and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare proposals and quotations in accordance with the Armstrong sales methodology.
• Develop and expand the direct customer base among OEM clients, distributors, and design engineers.
• Discover new market opportunities and foster customer relationships.
• Spearhead sales and marketing initiatives to boost sales, enhance brand recognition, loyalty, margins, and outreach.
• Define and manage the OEM sales channel across the Europe/UK region.
• Establish and maintain regular communication with decision-makers using a structured work plan.
• Facilitate successful basis-of-design specifications for new factory programs and projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Oversee the leverage project pipeline through training, education, stakeholder engagement, sales meetings, joint sales calls, and quotation assistance.
• Cultivate and sustain client relationships, becoming the Basis of Design through proactive consulting-engineer engagement.
• Comprehend customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Provide post-sale support and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Maintain records of customers and competitors while participating in sales planning.
• Analyze customer feedback to enhance market share.
• Market Armstrong products, services, and solutions utilizing value-based selling techniques.
• Engage with OEM customers weekly, devise territory plans, expand the sales funnel, and finalize projects.
• Keep abreast of product knowledge and competitive landscape.
• Formulate sales strategies, marketing channels, and sales forecasts.
• Implement commercial best practices through the Armstrong Sales Process.
• Update CRM records in real time and generate bi-weekly market activity reports.
• Monitor competitive actions and market conditions.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance operations and ensure timely services.
• Assist with management-assigned special projects.
• Participate in European/UK trade associations, including Eurovent, AREA, and REHVA.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a strong customer-centric marketing focus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industry-related direct sales, especially in solution and value-based sales.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OEM solutions and systems, including OEM product selection software.
• Experience in tracking customer sales data, forecasts, and reports using CRM and related software applications.
• Strong understanding of complex B2B sales cycles and negotiation strategies.
• Proven history of surpassing sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Capable of creating and delivering persuasive presentations to potential customers.
• Skilled in utilizing Armstrong's sales process and value tools to offer sustainable solutions that provide energy efficiency and long-term savings.
• Proficient in English, with additional language skills in French, Italian, Spanish, or German.
• Ability to simplify complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and offer clear recommendations.
• Strong team-oriented leadership abilities with a proactive approach.
• Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized.
• Ability to communicate openly and authentically.
• Willingness to travel 60–70% of the time.
