This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project-specific risks prior to and during implementation.
β’ Develop and oversee contingency and mitigation strategies for essential activities.
β’ Ensure that project operations adhere to legal standards, GE Vernova corporate policies, and the client's contractual EHS stipulations.
β’ Serve as a strategic partner to the Project Manager.
β’ Participate in progress meetings, manage the client's EHS expectations, and represent the organization during audits on construction sites.
β’ Determine EHS resource needs based on the project timeline and the complexity of each phase.
β’ Evaluate EHS implications arising from changes in scope, schedule, or methodology, ensuring that safety remains a priority.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or a related discipline.
β’ Prior experience in a comparable position.
β’ In-depth understanding of safety regulations relevant to major construction, installation, or long-term maintenance projects, including specific regulatory standards.
β’ Proficient in Spanish at an advanced level.
β’ Intermediate proficiency in English.
β’ Availability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to field locations and project sites.
