Nurse Practitioner, Casual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional virtual sexual health services to patients throughout the U.S.

• Conduct scheduled live consultations for up to approximately 15 hours weekly.

• Perform thorough initial assessments, which include gathering medical history, assessing risks, and conducting psychosocial evaluations.

• Provide education on STBBI prevention, guidance for HIV prevention, risk-reduction strategies, and behavioral counseling.

• Educate and empower patients about treatment options, stigma, and overall wellness.

• Offer 5–10 hours of asynchronous care weekly.

• Order laboratory tests and diagnostics, interpret findings, prescribe medications, and conduct clinical follow-ups.

• Ensure accurate patient documentation in the EMR system using virtual tools.

• Collaborate with and assist Registered Nurses and other support team members in delivering comprehensive patient care.

• Complete a minimum of 10 live consultation hours between Friday and Sunday.

• Work 20–25 hours each week, which includes both live consultations and asynchronous responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing along with a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner diploma.

• Active Nurse Practitioner licenses in a minimum of 10 states, including at least one of TX, FL, or CA.

• Over 2 years of experience in primary care.

• Proficient in delivering virtual healthcare services.

• Strong communication skills coupled with an empathetic approach to care.

• Experience in HIV prevention and/or working with the LGBTQ2AI+ community.

• Consistent availability for asynchronous patient care tasks and up to 15 hours weekly for scheduled shifts.

• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

• Experience with gender and sexually diverse communities is a plus.

• Previous experience in providing HIV care is advantageous.

• Familiarity with the private sector, start-ups, or technology companies is desirable.

• Background in an independent or autonomous practice setting is preferred.
