Non-Investment Finance Expert, CL Funnel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and assess PnL and mark-to-market reconciliations.

• Execute vendor/AP payment reconciliations while adhering to cash constraints and controls.

• Construct integrated 3-statement and pro-forma models, incorporating purchase-accounting effects.

• Conduct covenant and credit analysis.

• Prepare allocations for partnerships/professional services, including profit-pool waterfalls and capital accounts.

• Analyze term sheets, purchase/partnership agreements, trial balances, memos, and emails.

• Differentiate significant information from intentional distractions.

• Draft CFO/partner-ready narratives that clarify assumptions, variances, and recommendations.

• Generate and assess high-quality finance work products for AI training and evaluation.

• Complete projects autonomously on a flexible timetable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in a hands-on non-investment finance position.

• Background in product control/financial control, corporate FP&A, technical accounting, treasury/financial operations/AP–P2P, commercial-banking credit, or professional-services/partnership finance.

• CPA/CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS; familiarity with ASC 805 and ASC 606 is advantageous.

• Proficient in advanced Excel modeling, including linked 3-statement models, reconciliations, and pro formas.

• Ability to exercise professional judgment in situations with incomplete or ambiguous information.

• CFA/investing/portfolio-management background is not essential.

• Must be capable of working as an independent contractor.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
