Non-Executive Director, Ireland

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Join the board of Bankers without Boundaries as a Non-Executive Director.

• Contribute an independent viewpoint on the company's operations.

• Provide valuable insights to improve decision-making processes.

• Counsel Senior Management on the growth and development of the company in Ireland.

• Foster a positive and constructive relationship with Senior Management.

• Dedicate roughly 2 hours each quarter to this role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in Ireland; applications from outside the country will not be considered.

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in financial services, investment banking, or a closely related sector is required.

• In-depth knowledge of financial products and services is essential.

• Previous experience in ESG or sustainability is mandatory.

• A solid understanding of board governance, fiduciary responsibilities, and leadership at a senior level is crucial.

• Familiarity with the financial, regulatory, or business landscape in Ireland is beneficial.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment and a readiness to constructively challenge executive decisions.

• Strong interpersonal capabilities and the ability to cultivate trusted relationships at the board and senior management levels.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to convey complex issues clearly and diplomatically.
