Nocturnist Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations for emergency departments and inpatient teams remotely.

• Provide consult-liaison psychiatry services to patients of all ages, including those aged 5 and above in emergency department environments.

• Maintain a full-time nocturnist schedule comprising 13 to 16 overnight shifts each month.

• Offer rotating weekend coverage with 1 to 2 shifts per month.

• Collaborate with skilled Iris PMHNPs through NP supervision.

• Operate across various health systems and different levels of patient acuity.

• Join forces with multidisciplinary teams to support underserved populations.

• Engage in quality improvement projects and utilize AI-supported systems to enhance workflows and improve care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certification in Psychiatry is mandatory.

• Must possess an active medical license in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

• Successful completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency Program is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry via telehealth is necessary.

• Experience and willingness to assess patients aged 5 and older in Emergency Department settings are essential.

• Proficiency in telehealth using Epic EMR is required.

• Should be comfortable working across multiple health systems and varying levels of patient acuity.

• An IMLC Letter of Qualification is advantageous.

• Availability for full-time nocturnist work for 13 to 16 overnight shifts monthly, including rotating weekend coverage is essential.

• Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
