📋 Description

• Oversee editorial planning and actively implement strategies for daily coverage in Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Chicago.

• Create long-term packages and special projects for Bisnow.com and its newsletters.

• Lead a team of full-time reporters and freelancers, focusing on organization and professional development.

• Assign articles and perform line editing on online articles, newsletters, and morning briefs.

• Assist in leading, reporting, and expanding Bisnow's burgeoning commercial real estate news operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience on an editorial team, with a background in managing reporters.

• Proficient in handling a fast-paced daily news environment.

• Preferably, experience in business-to-business reporting.

• Familiarity with commercial real estate reporting is highly advantageous.

• Possess a clear, friendly, and highly organized management style focused on achieving goals.

• Proven track record as a skilled, thorough, and conscientious storyteller.

• Experience in editing and recruiting top-tier writers and editors.

• An eye for quality journalism and stories that have viral or share potential.

• Exceptional news judgment.

• Strong understanding of the competitive landscape in the CRE news sector within Texas and Chicago.

• Extensive experience with content management systems.

• Basic knowledge of SEO principles.
