This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage healthcare professionals through in-person, virtual, and digital platforms.
• Offer expertise regarding products and their approved indications.
• Act as the main point of contact for healthcare provider customers.
• Personally connect with customers via digital or virtual channels.
• Refer customers to colleagues, such as Customer Service Specialists, when necessary.
• Ensure that customer inquiries are addressed and gather feedback on the quality of engagement.
• Organize and facilitate speaker programs.
• Coordinate local provider groups to share experiences and outcomes with regional leaders.
• Communicate opportunities, feedback, and local market insights to the Area Business Lead.
• Work collaboratively with the ecosystem team to modify targeting and calling plans in a compliant manner.
• Utilize customer insights to guide local strategies and business objectives.
• Proactively reach out regarding product accessibility, on-label information, and established patient care guidelines.
• Provide education to office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Conduct office visits and sales presentations utilizing approved marketing materials and technical references.
• Build and maintain relationships with office and practice staff while delivering accurate information.
• At least one of the following: 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; less experience may be considered for those who successfully complete the Otsuka ReadyNow program.
• 3+ years of outside sales experience in business-to-business (B2B) or equivalent regulated, clinical, or customer engagement roles.
• 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, RN, or similar) with proven patient-facing, medical education, or therapy-focused responsibilities.
• Proven ability to convey complex clinical information, influence stakeholders, and translate scientific data into clear, actionable value propositions.
• Strong dedication to ethical business practices and awareness of regulatory standards.
• Capability to perform business activities in accordance with Company policies and guidelines.
• Ability to assimilate and articulate complex clinical and product information.
• Must live within a commute of 50 miles from the primary city in the sales territory.
