Neuroscience Schizophrenia District Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement compliant promotions for Neuroscience portfolio products across both outpatient and inpatient care settings.

• Oversee and manage Sales Specialists within the designated district.

• Create and execute a cohesive district business plan with specific objectives.

• Manage, develop, and motivate assigned personnel while allocating resources effectively.

• Collaborate with Neuroscience Sales, Institutional Business Group, Medical Affairs, and Neuroscience Marketing.

• Drive demand generation efforts, focusing particularly on outpatient environments.

• Facilitate demand generation and care transitions within local community hospitals.

• Provide leadership and management oversight to Sales Specialists, enhancing their skills and competencies.

• Analyze business performance, coach on approved sales messages, support territory strategies and business plans, and enhance team business acumen.

• Establish and promote career and development plans for Sales Specialists.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license issued in one of the fifty United States.

• At least eight years of relevant work experience is required.

• Minimum of five years of sales or cross-functional experience in key commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare sectors.

• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate others towards achieving success.

• Willingness to travel up to 70%, including overnight and weekend travel.

• Ideally, candidates should reside in the geographical area or in the southeast near a major airport hub.

• Prior experience in people management or completion of a Management Development Program is preferred.

• Expertise in high-level planning, organization, and business strategy is preferred.

• Experience with Neuroscience and/or Schizophrenia disease states is preferred.

• Background in large account management and access & reimbursement is preferred.

• A Master’s Degree in a related field or an MBA is preferred.
