This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Develop and implement compliant promotional strategies for Neuroscience portfolio products across both outpatient and inpatient care settings, targeting approved healthcare professionals.
• Directly oversee the performance of Sales Specialists within the assigned district.
• Create and execute a comprehensive district business plan with specific goals to achieve sales and business outcomes.
• Manage, develop, motivate, and appropriately allocate resources for assigned personnel.
• Collaborate with Neuroscience Sales, Institutional Business Group, Medical Affairs, and Neuroscience Marketing teams.
• Spearhead demand generation efforts with the Sales Specialist team, focusing on the outpatient environment.
• Drive demand generation and facilitate care transitions within local community hospitals.
• Provide leadership and management oversight for Sales Specialists across Neuroscience-promoted brands.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of approved clinical and HCC guidelines to enhance team skills and competencies.
• Analyze business performance, coach on approved sales messages, support territory strategies and business plans, and cultivate team business acumen.
• Establish and promote career development plans for Sales Specialists.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States.
• At least eight (8) years of relevant work experience is necessary.
• A minimum of five (5) years of sales or cross-functional experience in key commercial roles in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare sectors is essential.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate others towards success.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%, which may include overnight or weekend travel.
• Ideally resides within the designated geography or in the southeastern region near a major airport hub.
• Previous people management experience or completion of a Management Development Program is preferred.
• Proficiency in high-level planning, organizing, and business planning is desirable.
• Experience related to Neuroscience and/or Schizophrenia disease states is preferred.
• Familiarity with large account management and access & reimbursement is advantageous.
• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field or an MBA is preferred.
