This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Propel product acceptance and expansion through focused education and strategic account oversight.
• Implement territory sales strategies via both face-to-face and virtual communication methods.
• Recognize and tackle territory-specific challenges and opportunities for product success.
• Oversee promotional resources and budget management.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical personnel, key opinion leaders, advocacy organizations, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Inform external clients about Neurocrine products and their advantages.
• Establish lines of communication with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA regulations, pharmaceutical industry best practices, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a complete field presence from Monday to Friday, with the flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• BS/BA degree in science or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care, psychology, or neurology sales is highly preferred.
• Experience with close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
• Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotics is highly desirable.
• A Master's degree in science or a related field, coupled with 2+ years of relevant experience, may be considered as an alternative.
• Familiarity with best practices in the functional discipline and relevant business concepts.
• Strong comprehension of healthcare regulatory and enforcement landscapes.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales objectives and achieving launch success within complex environments.
• Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of business systems.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, and other sales/business intelligence platforms.
• Excellent skills in project management, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and both verbal and written communication.
• Ability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care settings.
• Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
• Must reside within the designated geographic area of the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
