This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee a designated geographic area to promote and enhance the growth of Neurocrine products.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships with physicians and other stakeholders in targeted accounts.
• Represent Neurocrine brands along with their approved indications.
• Educate physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders on product advantages.
• Promote product acceptance and development through focused education and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies via both in-person and virtual communications.
• Identify and tackle territory-specific opportunities and challenges.
• Manage promotional resources and budget effectively.
• Build and sustain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Collaborate with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, pharmaceutical industry best practices, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related area.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care (LTC), Psychology, or Neurology sales is highly desired.
• Experience with closed-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
• Background in Psychiatry, Neurology, or antipsychotic fields is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, and Veeva.
• Alternatively, a master’s degree in a scientific discipline or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of best practices in the functional discipline and related business concepts.
• Strong grasp of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments.
• Proven history of achieving or surpassing sales goals and successful product launches in complex settings.
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with business systems.
• Proficiency in sales platforms and business intelligence tools.
• Strong project management skills.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to lead and engage in cross-functional teams.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sales and account management orientation.
• Ability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care settings.
• Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
