This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Oversee a designated geographic territory while promoting and expanding Neurocrine products.
• Cultivate long-lasting relationships with physicians and other clients in targeted accounts.
• Provide education to physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders on product advantages.
• Enhance product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies via in-person and virtual interactions.
• Recognize and tackle territory-specific opportunities and challenges.
• Manage promotional resources and adhere to budget constraints.
• Establish and sustain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health facilities, long-term care establishments, payers, and pharmacies.
• Collaborate effectively with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA regulations, pharmaceutical industry best practices, compliance policies, and company values.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
• A BS/BA degree in science or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a similar domain.
• Ideally, 3+ years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care, psychology, or neurology sales.
• Experience with close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is highly preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates with psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic experience.
• A Master's degree in science or a related field, along with 2+ years of comparable experience, can also be considered.
• Familiarity with best practices in functional disciplines and broader business concepts.
• In-depth understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement landscapes.
• Proven history of achieving or surpassing sales goals and successful product launches in complex settings.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with business systems.
• Proficient with sales platforms and business intelligence tools, including Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, and Veeva.
• Outstanding project management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A robust sales and account management orientation.
• Ability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care settings.
• Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
• Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Must reside within the geographic region of the assigned territory.
