This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee a designated geographic territory while promoting and expanding the reach of Neurocrine products.
• Foster long-term relationships with physicians and other stakeholders in targeted accounts.
• Represent Neurocrine's brands and their approved indications.
• Provide education to physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders regarding product advantages.
• Propel product acceptance and growth through targeted educational initiatives and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies via both in-person and virtual communications.
• Identify and tackle territory-specific opportunities and challenges.
• Manage promotional resources and budget effectively.
• Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Collaborate with teams from managed care, marketing, patient access, medical science liaisons, and medical communications.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, best practices in the pharmaceutical industry, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend engagements.
• Carry out other assigned duties as necessary.
• A BS/BA degree in science or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related area.
• At least 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or long-term care, psychology, or neurology sales is highly desired.
• Experience with close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
• Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotics is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, and Veeva.
• Alternatively, a master's degree in science or a related field with 2+ years of similar experience.
• Understanding of best practices in the relevant functional discipline and broader business concepts.
• Strong comprehension of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing sales targets and achieving launch success in complex settings.
• Ability to lead and engage in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of business systems.
• Expertise with sales platforms and business intelligence tools.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong disposition towards sales and account management.
• Capability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care settings.
• Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.
• Results-driven with high ethical standards.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
• An entrepreneurial mindset or relevant experience.
• Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record; frequent driving is a requirement of the position.
