This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee a designated geographic area and promote as well as expand Neurocrine products.
• Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with physicians and other clients within targeted accounts.
• Serve as a representative for Neurocrine brands and their approved indications.
• Provide education to physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, and other external stakeholders regarding product advantages.
• Foster product acceptance and growth through focused education and strategic account management.
• Implement territory sales strategies utilizing both in-person and virtual communication methods.
• Recognize and tackle territory-specific opportunities and challenges.
• Manage promotional resources and adhere to budgetary constraints.
• Establish and sustain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, advocacy groups, community mental health clinics, long-term care facilities, payers, and pharmacies.
• Collaborate with managed care, Marketing, Patient Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and medical communications teams.
• Adhere to FDA guidelines, pharmaceutical industry best practices, company values, and compliance policies.
• Maintain a full field presence from Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend events.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field, along with at least 4 years of experience in commercial pharma/biotech or a related area.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales is highly desirable.
• Experience with close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution is strongly preferred.
• Background in psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic medications is strongly preferred.
• Alternatively, a master's degree in science or a related field with 2+ years of equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Familiarity with best practices in the functional discipline and broader business concepts is essential.
• Strong comprehension of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments.
• Demonstrated history of achieving or surpassing sales targets and success in product launches within complex settings.
• Capability to lead and engage in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with business systems are required.
• Expertise in sales platforms and business intelligence tools, including Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, and similar systems.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Robust sales and account management aptitude.
• Ability to navigate complex accounts across diverse care settings.
• Understanding of specialty fulfillment and payer requirements.

• Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
