Network Engineering Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Manage customer support tickets, investigate reported issues, and ensure prompt resolution within the defined SLAs.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, vendors, and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues.

• Record troubleshooting procedures and solutions to enhance processes and empower the NOC and Customer Support teams.

• Conduct post-incident reviews to identify systemic problems and suggest improvements to the platform.

• Engage in special projects and task forces that require multi-platform investigations and advanced problem-solving skills.

• Assist with network modifications, ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with operational best practices.

• Monitor and evaluate network performance to proactively mitigate recurring issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of IP networking, packet core technologies, VoLTE/IMS, and telecom protocols (TCP/IP, GTP, SIP, DIAMETER, MAP, SMPP).

• Proficient troubleshooting abilities utilizing tracing tools and Wireshark.

• Experience in Linux/Unix environments for network diagnostics is preferred.

• Capability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented with outstanding documentation capabilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment, including participation in on-call rotations.
