Systems and Network Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and maintain the network infrastructure for clients, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.

• Manage Windows and Linux servers, encompassing installations, updates, patching, and performance optimization.

• Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure services, focusing on licensing, identity management, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Purview.

• Utilize RMM tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Uphold client security and compliance standards.

• Plan and evaluate backup and disaster recovery procedures.

• Address client issues and propose enhanced technical solutions.

• Maintain thorough documentation and deliver clear reports.

• Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in systems and network administration.

• Profound knowledge in Windows Server and Linux environments.

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, and DNS.

• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

• Practical experience in administering Microsoft 365 and Azure.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and diagnostic abilities.

• Strong communication skills with a client-oriented approach.

• Experience in an MSP or multi-client support setting is advantageous.

• Certifications like CCNA, MCSE, or CompTIA Network+ are beneficial but not mandatory.
