This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Lead and engage in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of network hardware, software, communication links, and routing protocols.
• Assist in the planning, design, and development of LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network access control solutions.
• Analyze and resolve network hardware and software issues with precision and efficiency.
• Connect, operate, and oversee network systems.
• Collaborate closely with data center, operations, and technical teams.
• Create and maintain documentation that details logical and physical network designs, VLANs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
• Enhance telecommunications and networking options that facilitate remote communications.
• Develop and refine internal network and infrastructure processes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues across various network environments.
• Support Level I engineers in addressing more complex connectivity challenges.
• Assist in the installation of communications hardware and the repair of equipment.
• Provide responsive service while fostering strong customer relationships.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Five years of experience in the networking field.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is required.
• Fortinet certifications are preferred.
• Cisco Meraki certifications are preferred.
• A+ certification is preferred.
• OEM equipment certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with ASTEA is preferred.
• Ability to manage non-routine network issues with sound judgment.
• Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Clear communication skills with technical teams, leaders, and customers.
