📋 Description

• Deliver Level 2 technical assistance for enterprise and data-center network systems.

• Identify and resolve network incidents, connectivity challenges, and service requests.

• Troubleshoot issues related to routing, switching, firewalls, and overall network performance.

• Monitor the network infrastructure and react to alerts and events that impact services.

• Execute authorized network configurations, changes, upgrades, and hardware replacements.

• Conduct organized troubleshooting and escalate complex or unresolved matters to Level 3 engineering teams.

• Assist in incident, problem, and change-management processes.

• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and cross-functional infrastructure teams to address network challenges.

• Keep precise network documentation, configuration records, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Engage in network maintenance, service restoration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure that all work adheres to established security, operational, and change-management protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from an accredited college or university with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of routing, switching, server operating systems, firewalls, wireless controllers, DNS, email, virtual machines, and software applications.

• Familiarity with content delivery networks and internet peering strategies.

• Knowledge of server hardware technologies related to content delivery efficiency and capacity.

• Capability to perform office-related tasks, including extended periods of sitting or standing.

• Ability to navigate within an office setting.

• Proficiency in computer usage.

• Effective communication skills.
