📋 Description

• Deliver Level 2 technical assistance for enterprise and data center network infrastructure.

• Identify and resolve network incidents, connectivity challenges, and service requests.

• Address issues related to routing, switching, firewalls, and network performance.

• Oversee network infrastructure and react to alerts and events that impact services.

• Execute authorized network configurations, modifications, upgrades, and hardware changes.

• Carry out structured troubleshooting and escalate complex or unresolved matters to Level 3 engineering teams.

• Assist in incident, problem, and change management processes.

• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and cross-functional infrastructure teams to address network challenges.

• Keep precise network documentation, configuration logs, and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Engage in network maintenance, service restoration, and continuous enhancement initiatives.

• Ensure all tasks comply with established security, operational, and change management protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from an accredited college or university and 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

• Comprehensive understanding of routing, switching, server operating systems, firewalls, wireless controllers, DNS, email, virtual machines, and software applications.

• Familiarity with content delivery networks and internet peering strategies.

• Knowledge of server hardware technologies related to content delivery performance and capacity.

• Capability to establish productive internal and external working relationships.

• Ability to exercise discretion within defined procedures and practices.

• Competence in performing office-related tasks, including prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

• Ability to navigate within an office environment.

• Proficiency in using a computer.

• Effective communication skills.
