Network Engineer – Field Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Deploy, configure, and provide support for Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN solutions, including vManage and vEdge/cEdge.

• Set up and maintain Cisco Meraki environments across MX, MS, and MR platforms.

• Implement and support Cradlepoint routers utilizing NetCloud Manager.

• Integrate LTE/5G and satellite connectivity within enterprise network designs.

• Offer real-time remote assistance to field technicians during installations, cutovers, and troubleshooting activities.

• Aid in validation, turn-ups, and problem resolution during live deployments.

• Manage multiple customer networks simultaneously while demonstrating strong prioritization and communication skills.

• Ensure compliance with customer-specific standards, SLAs, and security requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-7+ years of practical experience in data networking or network engineering, specifically with large-scale projects or national/international deployments.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, including vManage, policy control, and routing.

• Proficient with Microsoft-based desktop and laptop systems, along with mobile device experience (smartphones, tablet PCs, etc.).

• Strong background with Cisco Meraki MX, MS, and MR platforms.

• Familiarity with the Cradlepoint NetCloud ecosystem.

• Comprehensive understanding of routing protocols like OSPF and BGP, TCP/IP, VPNs, and network security fundamentals.

• Experience in supporting distributed environments and remote site connectivity.

• Knowledge of wired and wireless monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.

• Capable of effectively communicating technical guidance to field technicians and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven track record of managing multiple priorities across various customer environments.

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills.

• Experience with Starlink deployment and satellite connectivity is a plus.

• Familiarity with Fortinet firewalls and SD-WAN capabilities is an advantage.

• Experience with multi-carrier cellular deployments and failover design is beneficial.

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Meraki CMNA/CMNO, Cradlepoint, Juniper, CompTIA, Apple, Linux, or Fortinet NSE are advantageous.
