This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Assist customers with on-site installation, preventive maintenance, and repairs of Agilent Pathology and Genomics instruments.
• Install and enhance hardware, software, networking products, and configurations at customer locations.
• Diagnose and address product performance issues.
• Conduct maintenance and repair services.
• Provide recommendations to customers regarding preventive maintenance and configurations that could affect product performance.
• Anticipate potential equipment or software concerns to avert unexpected business disruptions.
• Deliver comprehensive solutions that integrate peripherals, communication systems, operating systems, and application software.
• Act as an internal technical resource and manage product escalations.
• Collaborate with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to develop customer solutions.
• Potentially assist with third-party products.
• Deliver internal technical training, maintenance seminars, and workshops.
• Train other field engineers or customers.
• May qualify leads.
• Must be capable of lifting 60 lbs.
• An active and valid driver's license is required.
• Must meet Agilent-approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements for site access.
• Consent to customer-requested screenings, which may include post-employment background checks, drug testing, vaccinations, fingerprinting, proof of valid identification, and participation in customer-specific substance abuse programs.
• A bachelor's, master's, or other university-level degree in a science-related field is highly preferred; a combination of education, training, and experience may be considered equivalent.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience with analytical instrumentation.
• Experience or expertise in handling Pathology equipment, particularly IHC instrumentation.
• Experience in Medical Diagnostics is ideal.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 service standards.
• Ability to resolve significant, system/solution-focused product availability challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong skills in building customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel 80% of the time.
• Availability for overnight travel 50%, including potential weekend and overtime work.
• Must be able to work in Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and the Bay Area as needed.
