Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Install, repair, and maintain Onto Innovation's metrology and inspection products.

• Deploy new tools across the European region.

• Execute both engineering and applications responsibilities.

• Address tool-down incidents within Europe.

• Attend to maintenance requests as needed.

• Supply necessary documentation and feedback to the U.S. factory.

• Offer insights to the sales team and assist in identifying potential future sales opportunities.

• Provide applications feedback to facilitate ongoing product enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in Field Service within the Semiconductor industry.

• Prior knowledge of equipment fault detection.

• Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and software domains.

• Desired experience in Semiconductor applications.

• College/University degree or several years of relevant professional experience in engineering/E&I.

• Capability to work independently while also being part of a team.

• Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

• Willingness to travel frequently throughout Europe, approximately 40% of the time.
