Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions.

• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco and Fortinet devices in various client environments.

• Monitor network performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.

• Resolve complex network incidents and service requests promptly and professionally.

• Engage in network-related projects, such as migrations, upgrades, and new deployments.

• Collaborate with security teams to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Document network configurations, modifications, and procedures.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the sharing of technical knowledge.

• Participate in service transition activities with Professional Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience required.

• Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) Level 4 or higher is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, ideally within a managed services or service provider environment.

• Strong understanding of Cisco IOS/NX-OS and FortiOS.

• Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and service management practices.

• Experience with cloud networking in Azure and AWS environments is a plus.
