This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deploy, install, configure, integrate, and test enterprise HSIA, network, and Wi-Fi equipment for hospitality clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to enterprise-level network and product performance.
• Conduct troubleshooting for LAN/WAN and digital switching across software, hardware, servers, routers, modems, wireless, TCP/IP, and QoS.
• Perform network diagnostics, monitoring, and analysis utilizing tools like Ekahau and Wireshark.
• Create precise, detailed, and timely documentation for network systems.
• Offer daily network/Wi-Fi engineering support and take responsibility for job performance.
• Operate autonomously or collaborate within a team, possibly under the guidance of project managers.
• Complete assigned tasks within defined timeframes and budgets.
• Work in partnership with internal teams, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Research, implement, and adapt innovative and scalable networking solutions.
• Deliver work products punctually, adhering to company procedures and best practices.
• Undertake additional miscellaneous duties as required.
• At least 5+ years of experience working autonomously or as a team lead in network/Wi-Fi installations, diagnostics, monitoring, and using analytical tools such as Ekahau and Wireshark.
• 2+ years of experience with HP, FortiGate, firewalls, Aruba, Ruckus Networks, and Meraki wireless enterprise-level products providing technical network and Wi-Fi services to commercial clients.
• Meraki certification is preferred; if not certified, a commitment to obtain it within the first 60 days of employment is necessary.
• Five years of experience configuring Aruba and Ruckus hardware within the hospitality sector.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without daily oversight.
• Strong problem-solving skills in complex data network systems.
• Capability to participate in an on-call rotation supporting the 24x7x365 team.
• Ability to function effectively as a team member in a dynamic, high-volume work environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven technical and/or professional expertise in network/Wi-Fi engineering.
• Eagerness to learn and develop proficiency.
• Ability to comprehend and apply company resources in alignment with company policies, standards, and best practices.
• Proven ability to operate with urgency, professionalism, integrity, collaboration, and ethics.
• Intermediate PC skills and ability to use Windows and Windows-based applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Project.
