Network Analyst – Wi-Fi Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage, oversee, and provide support for corporate Wi‑Fi environments.

• Diagnose issues related to connectivity, performance, roaming, authentication, and wireless coverage.

• Operate and maintain systems including Cisco Catalyst Wireless, Cisco Meraki, Huawei, and Aruba solutions.

• Assist in the deployment, expansion, and modernization of wireless environments.

• Conduct analyses on coverage, capacity, interference, and user experience.

• Track key performance indicators for wireless connectivity services, focusing on performance, availability, and quality.

• Facilitate software and firmware updates and ensure technology standardization in wireless environments.

• Engage in projects aimed at enhancing the wireless network infrastructure.

• Develop and uphold technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge bases.

• Collaborate with vendors, manufacturers, and Technical Assistance Centers (TACs) to manage and resolve complex incidents and enhancements.

• Assist infrastructure, security, operations, and architecture teams in troubleshooting wireless connectivity challenges.

• Take part in root cause analyses (RCA) and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support environments utilizing 802.1X authentication, WPA2/WPA3 Enterprise, and integration with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.

• Work closely with Security, Audit, and Risk teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree completed or currently in progress in Computer Networks, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience in administering and supporting corporate Wi‑Fi environments.

• Familiarity with IEEE 802.11 technologies (Wi‑Fi 5, Wi‑Fi 6, Wi‑Fi 6E, and Wi‑Fi 7).

• Demonstrated experience with at least one enterprise wireless platform: Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki, Huawei, or Aruba; multivendor experience is a plus.

• Understanding of wireless management and monitoring platforms.

• Knowledge of wireless controllers, cloud-managed platforms, and centralized management solutions such as Cisco Catalyst Center, Meraki Dashboard, Huawei iMaster NCE-Campus, and Aruba Central.

• Experience in troubleshooting LAN and wireless environments.

• Understanding of switching and TCP/IP networking fundamentals.

• Proficiency with network protocol capture and analysis tools.

• Experience in analyzing logs, events, and connectivity diagnostics.

• Additional skills: Cisco Catalyst Center; Cisco Meraki Dashboard; Cisco ISE or other NAC solutions; Ekahau, Hamina, AirMagnet or other site survey tools; automation with Python, APIs, or Ansible.

• Preferred certifications: CCNA; Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist (500-220 ECMS); Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Wireless Implementation; Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Wireless Design; CCNP Enterprise; HCIA-WLAN; HCIP-WLAN; Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA); Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP); CWNA; Ekahau ECSE Design; Ekahau ECSE Advanced; ITIL Foundation.
