This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the upkeep and management of network infrastructure that supports products and client solutions.
• Maintain, support, and optimize network infrastructure services to ensure resiliency, stability, security, and meet business needs.
• Address service requests, incidents, problem tasks, and implement changes to the network infrastructure.
• Engage in hardware and software upgrades for network devices.
• Execute vulnerability remediation and respond to incidents and alerts.
• Undertake standardization initiatives, routine compliance tasks, capacity planning, and enhancements in network monitoring.
• Oversee and support client telecom circuits.
• Collaborate with carriers and vendors for incident resolution and optimization.
• Participate in triage and incident bridge calls.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend network support as necessary.
• Deliver customer service to external clients, vendors, and internal business departments.
• Provide technical consulting services to both internal and external customers.
• Work in conjunction with Development, Product, Production Support, and Build teams.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent experience is required.
• Relevant industry certifications, including Azure and/or AWS, or equivalent experience are desired.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in the subject matter is essential.
• Strong experience in configuring and maintaining Cisco routing and switching is necessary.
• Experience supporting layers 1–4 of the OSI model is highly preferred.
• Support and management of security policies in a PCI compliant environment are required.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving incidents and determining root causes are essential.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with Wireshark, Solarwinds, ServiceNow, and/or ADO is helpful.
