This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.
β’ Direct and oversee the company's sales initiatives and strategies.
β’ Serve as a catalyst for achieving business goals, values, and strategic directions.
β’ Engage in and contribute to strategic and conceptual decision-making processes.
β’ Take responsibility for sales outcomes within a specified region in Austria, encompassing product sales, promotional budget allocation, and performance metrics.
β’ Recruit, train, and guide field-based Pharmaceutical Representatives.
β’ Lead, coach, train, advise, mentor, and manage the performance of team members effectively.
β’ Organize and implement regional sales initiatives, including continuing education programs.
β’ Monitor activities and regularly assess success using CRM systems and market data.
β’ Oversee the sales force effectively.
β’ Spend time in the field to engage with customers and gain insights into their perspectives.
β’ Manage customer networking and maintain ongoing relationships with key stakeholders in the region.
β’ Provide insights on local market needs and competitor activities.
β’ Track and manage the territory budget, sales performance, and productivity levels.
β’ Ensure that both personal and direct reports complete mandatory initial and ongoing training in local regulations and policies.
β’ A university degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
β’ An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is considered a plus.
β’ A proven history of success in sales leadership roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors, preferably in specialty care or rare diseases.
β’ Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire field-based commercial teams.
β’ Strong skills in coaching and performance management.
β’ Excellent strategic and analytical capabilities.
β’ Proficiency in translating market data, CRM insights, and competitive intelligence into effective commercial strategies.
β’ Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
β’ A solid track record of establishing trustworthy relationships with key customers, cross-functional partners, and senior internal leaders.
β’ Strong communication and influencing abilities in both German and English.
