National Sales Manager, Lender Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive new business initiatives, enhance existing accounts, and boost transaction volumes within Vitu's lender-centric product offerings.

• Create and implement a national sales strategy aimed at banks, credit unions, captive finance firms, independent finance entities, servicing organizations, and various automotive lenders.

• Engage in daily outbound prospecting via telephone, email, professional networks, referrals, industry events, and face-to-face meetings.

• Identify and connect with key decision-makers across lending, servicing, collateral management, title operations, repossession, compliance, risk, finance, and executive leadership.

• Conduct virtual and in-person discovery meetings, workflow evaluations, product demonstrations, and executive presentations.

• Guide opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contracting, implementation handoff, and initial transaction adoption.

• Assess workflows related to lenders, dealerships, titles, liens, payoffs, and repossessions.

• Convert operational challenges into quantifiable business cases.

• Propose solutions tailored to customer portfolios, transaction volumes, operating structures, geographical footprints, technological landscapes, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with internal experts on title, registration, lien, repossession, and implementation requirements.

• Draft proposals, pricing recommendations, ROI analyses, and formal presentations.

• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, implementation expectations, and contractual obligations.

• Foster consensus among operational, technical, legal, compliance, procurement, and executive stakeholders.

• Manage opportunities until agreements are signed and implementation responsibilities are handed over.

• Meet or surpass revenue, transaction, installation, and new-logo targets.

• Formulate account-growth strategies and facilitate successful launches in collaboration with implementation, training, operations, customer success, and account management teams.

• Track adoption and transaction activities, pinpoint obstacles, coordinate corrective actions, and conduct follow-up training, business reviews, and executive meetings.

• Offer additional lender, dealership, titling, registration, and repossession solutions.

• Utilize HubSpot and company systems to record activities, contacts, opportunities, meetings, forecasts, next steps, and account details.

• Maintain opportunity records, provide weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasts, and monitor performance against objectives.

• Share market insights, competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and product development opportunities with leadership.

• Participate in industry conferences and trade shows.

• Travel to key prospects and customer locations for discovery, demonstrations, negotiations, implementations, and business reviews.

• Build relationships with industry associations, technology providers, servicing organizations, dealer groups, lenders, and strategic partners.

• Represent Vitu as an informed resource on automotive lending and dealership operations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of three years of professional experience selling to, working for, or directly supporting automotive lenders.

• Knowledge of automotive lending operations, including loan origination and funding, lien perfection, Electronic Lien and Title, collateral and title management, loan servicing, vehicle payoffs, lien releases, repossessions, and compliance and audit standards.

• At least three years of direct experience in or closely supporting automotive dealership operations.

• Understanding of dealership processes, including finance and insurance, deal funding, title and registration, payoff processing, vehicle sales and delivery, inventory management, used-vehicle acquisition, repossession or auction purchases, accounting or office operations, dealer management systems, and state motor vehicle agency regulations.

• Five or more years of successful business-to-business sales experience.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales, revenue, or new business goals.

• Experience managing complex sales involving multiple operational and executive stakeholders.

• Ability to articulate technical and operational solutions in straightforward business language.

• Strong skills in prospecting, discovery, presentation, demonstration, negotiation, and closing.

• Capacity to quickly establish credibility with lender executives and dealership operators.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and executive-level communication abilities.

• Strong organizational, time-management, and pipeline-management skills.

• Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.

• Proficient in HubSpot or a similar customer relationship management platform.

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the United States.

• Preferred: existing relationships within automotive lending, dealership, title, registration, repossession, servicing, or remarketing sectors.

• Preferred: experience in selling technology, software, data, workflow, compliance, or transaction-based solutions.

• Preferred: familiarity with Electronic Lien and Title, electronic vehicle registration, title management, repossession titling, or lender collateral systems.

• Preferred: experience selling to banks, credit unions, captive finance companies, independent automotive finance firms, dealer groups, or automotive servicing organizations.

• Preferred: experience creating business cases focused on cost savings, transaction volume, cycle time reduction, compliance, and operational efficiency.

• Preferred: experience working with state departments of motor vehicles or other motor vehicle agencies.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or a relevant combination of industry experience and demonstrated performance.
