This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with the overall objectives of the company.
• Create and execute a national sales plan; lead the sales team in developing targeted sales strategies and reviewing milestones, actions, and objectives.
• Propel revenue growth, expand market reach, and enhance customer acquisition.
• Manage strategies, tactics, and key metrics that support growth objectives and profitability.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, mentor, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
• Establish clear targets, offer guidance, and implement best practices for sales processes, pipeline management, and performance metrics.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue sources.
• Cultivate relationships with key clients and stakeholders to promote growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Conduct market research and analysis to recognize trends, competitive landscapes, and customer requirements.
• Refine product offerings, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans based on gathered insights.
• Optimize sales processes and initiatives throughout the sales team.
• Collaborate with teams in reimbursement, billing, operations, marketing, customer success, and clinical strategic partnerships.
• Maintain expertise in product and scientific knowledge, serving as a product expert.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones and field visits; monitor sales trends and provide performance coaching.
• Attend and engage in corporate meetings, trade shows, and general meetings as needed.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory and reimbursement changes, and technological advancements.
• Establish and nurture internal and customer relationships.
• Organize and lead regular team meetings while facilitating discussions on shared best practices.
• Champion account management to monitor sales performance against goals.
• Proven experience in driving sales and building sales teams at startups, particularly in medical and AI sectors within regulated healthcare markets.
• Experience in generating sales for both lab-developed tests and medical software.
• A demonstrated history of success in senior leadership roles, with substantial experience in sales management and business development.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with the ability to convert market insights into actionable strategies.
• Proven track record of fostering a culture of accountability.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with an emphasis on coaching, mentoring, and inspiring teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Results-driven mindset, passionate about fostering growth and delivering value to customers.
• Experience in breast cancer oncology & biomarkers is highly beneficial.
