This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Foster growth and market advancement within U.S. National Reference Laboratories and National Health Systems.
• Establish and nurture executive-level connections with essential stakeholders across laboratory, health system, and enterprise networks.
• Provide comprehensive diagnostic solutions aimed at customer retention, expansion, and long-term profitability.
• Lead cross-functional teams to formulate and implement strategic account plans that enhance customer outcomes and drive business growth.
• Oversee intricate enterprise accounts, including account strategy, opportunity identification, forecasting, contract negotiations, and pricing.
• Collaborate with the U.S. sales team to create and execute financial and strategic business plans for national accounts.
• Offer leadership, coaching, and mentoring to foster team development and enhance performance.
• Create customer-centric growth strategies informed by market insights, competitive trends, and long-term business goals.
• Spearhead cross-divisional initiatives that reinforce account management practices and improve overall business performance.
• Meet or surpass annual revenue, profitability, and ROI goals for specified national accounts.
• Manage executive sponsorship initiatives, strategic partnerships, financial analysis, and customer agreements to facilitate sustainable growth.
• Travel nationally in a remote field-based sales position.
• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in Reference Laboratory or Enterprise Account Sales within the Diagnostics or Medical Device sector is essential.
• Demonstrated success in achieving revenue goals in a complex, solution-selling environment, especially with major accounts.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting is required.
• Experience negotiating with all levels of customer management, including CEOs, CFOs, procurement leaders, and department managers.
• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
• Over 3 years of experience managing or leading a direct sales team is preferred.
• Exceptional presentation and demonstration skills are necessary.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities are required.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven history of operating at a senior commercial level.
• Extensive knowledge of general laboratory practices is beneficial.
• Familiarity with healthcare, technology, or management consulting markets is preferred.
• Must be willing to travel up to 60% of the time, including overnight stays.
